Fergie Beats Submissions
We’re inviting poetry fans to send in their own homemade videos to be included on Rich Ferguson’s spoken word videos this fall. We’ll be choosing clips from submitted videos to pair with spoken poems from Ferguson’s newest poetry collection, Everything Between the Hates (released by Moon Tide Press in January 2021). We have a list of creative prompts to guide your efforts, shown below. We encourage you to express yourself -- the more creative the better.
Please send submissions to versiferguson@gmail.com by the end of day Friday, September 4th to be considered. All successful submissions will be contacted via email. Final videos will be released and announced on Rich Ferguson’s social media platforms.
Please note:
- Your video must not contain any other copyrighted material.
- Please shoot video by smartphone, and do so in landscape.
- The video will not include audio from submissions.
- Submissions can be sent via Dropbox, or as an e-mail attachment.
- File size must be 400MB or smaller
- We cannot credit you in the stream so any credits must be added to the end of the video.
